This sheath was ordered along with a Boker ARCS I Folder and a Timber Wolf Navaho Folder 7 1/2 Folder that are both 4" closed, neither knife fits well enough to get the sheath snapped. The sheath is around 4 1/2" overall. The maximum size would be closer to 3 3/4" for a thinner knife.

Good buy for price, but with some imperfections. All in all a good sheath.
