This does contain a can opener instead of a bottle opener; so if it is to be used as a bottle opener, the cap may be punctured in the process. Given the alternative, though; I'd rather have a bottle opener than a can opener. Other than that, it is a little difficult to open (it could use some oil); but has the essentials for anyone wishing to limit the number of items in their backpack.

doesn't look like a bottle opener, more like a can opener, that would be more useful, nice lookin tool!!!!!

This item is very useful. It has a plastic frame, but still well made. It is still a little hard to open, but that's not always a bad thing. Great buy.
