Very plain looking, as a traditional Bowie should look I guess. Not real well made but not junk but I wouldn't buy it again.Would you recommend this to a friend? No

I loved this knife as soon as I got it.It was too sharpened on one side when I got it but with a little bit of inginuity and some help from my uncle it got there. The sheath on mine was good but on mine the snap broke off but I just used my trusty paracord to lace it back like I mention in another review on the army 1942 fighting knife. The blade was long and had a great point on it and the handle fit my hands very and for a kid my age I have big hands and the full tang made it awesome as a throwing knife but I'm not very good.All in all a great knife. Thanks.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

This knife is simply amazing!.Its well built,sturdy and durable.I would definitely recommend this item!It came a little sharp but not too much.The sheath it pretty good and it fits perfectly.Great for only 17 bucks!If your looking for a good unexpensive knife this is it!Would you recommend this to a friend? This is a functional tool, not a display piece. The blade is a bit light for "serious" work, but it does just fine as a camping aid. Don't expect to baton hardwood with it. The price is right. Wrap the sheath with duct tape.

This knife is exactly what I wanted. I wanted a good, heavy knife for a low price that I didn't have to worry about messing up. This knife is a bit bigger than I had anticipated but it is fine. With a little sharpening, oiling and brasso this knife is a beauty and highly functional too. It holds a sharp edge and is easy to sharpen. The sheath is rather crappy but it will do until I can get a better one. Overall this is an exceptional knife that I would recommend to anyone who wants a great work knife for a super price. It is well worth it.

Just received the Classic Bowie yesterday. To tell you the truth, I like it! I don't understand why people expect so much for a $16 bowie, you're not going to get the craftsmanship of a $100 or $200 knife is this item. What your are going to get is full tang tang 10" blade made for hard use. And I use all my knives, no mantle pieces or wall hangers in my house. The wood handle is great, fits well in my large size hands, and with a little Brasso polish the cross guard comes out pretty nice. Sheath is useable, but wont last long. Overall, a good buy, already thinking I'll get another. 5 stars.

It's a great big ol' knife. It's sharp, and it's sturdy. The problem is the workmanship. On mine, the hilt is off center and leaves a gap to one side of the blade. Also, if you look at the hilt from the top of the blade, it's not symmetrical. The right side of the hilt is ground off flat at an angle, and the left side is all rounded. It looks like the guy in the factory in Pakistan just haphazardly ground the hilt down to a semi-satisfactory-at-a-quick-glance shape and hurriedly sent it on down the line.

I love this knife. It sits on my nightstand! It came with a slight burr on the blade by the point, but a minute with a file and then a couple of passes with a knife sharpener and this is my knife. Not only do I love the weight and feel, it just looks neat and is really solid. Like everyone below, the sheath is horrible! But, I am not going to ding a great blade. I already want another one! If I could only buy one knife on this site, it would be this one.
