I've had one of these knives for several years. The sheath fell completely apart after very minimal use. The material used in the sheath is too soft to support the weight of the knife when hung from a belt. The blade will also cut the sheath and speed up ripping of the material. Repeated use for cutting rope, whittling on wood, or various other hunting and camping resulted in the blade wobbling a bit side to side. This really is not a knife geared towards field use. This is more of a low-priced fantasy knife, display piece, etc.Would you recommend this to a friend? No
