Looks great, feels great, and VERY SHARP right out of the box. Boker is one of the "old names" of knife making (tools dating back to the 1600s, blades since the 1800s),and their reputation for quality blades is well-earned and still endures. There is no COO stamped on the blade, so I'm guessing that this one came out of the Denver CO plant. The tip is needle sharp, and should pierce any metal up to lightweight (1/32) mild steel. Both the smooth blade and it's serrated edge are razor sharp. I would recommend this blade to my adult children and my best friend!Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes
