HAD PROBLEMS WITH GETTING THE KNIFE, GOT THE STAINLESS STEEL VERSION BY ACCIDENT & DID NOT GET THE SHEATH FOR THE RAMBO 4 MACHETE THAT I ALSO ORDERED,SO I HAD TO SEND THEM BOTH BACK BUT THE COSTUMER SEVICE WAS EXCELLENT. ONTO THE KNIFE. THIS KNIFE IS LIKE NO OTHER. I THOUGHT THAT BECAUSE IT WAS A PUSH TANG, THAT IT WOULD FEEL LIKE IT WOULD FALL APART BUT IT'S WELL MADE, LIKE THAY USED CEMENT OR SOME ADHESIVE LIKE THAT. MY ONLY WISH IS THAT ONE DAY SOMEONE WOULD MAKE A FULL VISABLE TANG VERSION WITH A FLAT GRIND. "THAT" KNIFE WOULD BE UNSTOPPABLE. BUT THAT TAKES NOTHING AWAY FROM THIS ONE. This knife truly is bad a**, it will get any job done in no time. My one complaint with this otherwise flawless knife is that the steel was not made in America. The reason that is even an issue is because American steel is much higher quality than Chinese steel. I only bring this up because in the product description it made no mention as to where the knife was actually made. The knife is powerful as well beautiful don?t get me wrong, but it would be unstoppable if the blade were made from American steel. 5/5Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

As a long time devotee of the Bowie knife, this knife by Gil Hibbens' tops the list of my collection. I am 6' 6" tall, and I find that this monster is almost too much knife for me. I love it! I'm polishing off the acid etch before I sharpen it. The delivery time and customer service is fantastic as always!Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

Just got this as a gift. I collect blades, but more of the affordable kind, this by far is the best bowie/knife i own. I can't stop holding it! Damascus steel is now my favorite.

Excellent knife, used it in the woods multiple times and this sucker has some chopping power. Sharpened it up a bit more and now this thing is a monster in your hand. Very heavy, worth the extra cost for the Damascus version.

First off i would like to say how fast the shipping was, Thank you BudK. Next comes the review, This sucker is big! And sharp too! Cut my finger on it first day i got it! Heavy and looks like it could take down a polar bear! I will definitely be coming back here
