This is an exceptional value in a hunting knife. Seriously, this is quality you would normally expect out of a really high dollar knife. The blade is the perfect size for field dressing and quartering big game. The fit and finish on both of these that I bought are absolutely flawless. In short, buy this knife. The fit and finish on this knife are excellent...more like what you would expect from a knife in the $75 $100 range. German stainless steel but assembled in China. The Chinese are getting better at quality production and this knife is a good example. The fit and finish are excellent! The knife came very sharp and seems to hold it's edge well. The sheath however is of poor quality, that's the only reason I gave it for 4 stars instead of 5. The Timber Wolf Blazin Bowie is a well made, amazing edge, tough little fixed blade knife. I am still surprised at the Bud K price in that the quality of the entire Timber Wolf line is way below what I'd expect to pay for a knife as good as this. The grip and feel of the blade is almost custom for me which makes it a joy to use. Anytime I'm out in the woods, this baby is strapped to my belt. Haven't yet found a job it couldn't handle. this would make a wonderful gift for any outdoors person you may know. I'm ordering several just for that reason. Great buy. I bought this knife several months ago as I was looking for a nice, smallish knife to take with me trail riding. I've purchased Timber Wolf knives before and have been very happy with them. This knife looks nice but the handle is too thin to fit comfortably in one's hand; it needs to be half again as thick to be properly balanced.Would you recommend this to a friend? No

Just received the Timber Wolf Bowie and I was blown away by the overall look, feel, and quality of this knife. I don't believe you could find a better knife for 3 times the price. Would recommend to anyone, and I'm in the process of ordering two more for myself.

I have had a lot of knives over the years, some cheaper and others much more expensive but this is by far the best fixed blade knife I have ever used. The grip and the balance make this knife feel like it was custom made for my hand and the blade holds a great edge without much work. Mark my words, this sucker is going to be my number one utility/hunting knife for years.

My personal favorite knife, I own 2 and I would have to buy a third to give one away. Outstanding workmanship and great balance. Very good looking knife also.

This is a good quality knife. I love the look of it and I love the feel. Its perfectly balance and hangs nicely off my belt. The only problem I have with it is the locking strap on the leather sheath for it. With mine it seems like it was angled to far down for it to lock properly. Also during use of my knife the tip of it broke off. Otherwise this is a great knife to own for use or display.
