I first bought the Buck 110 Hunter back in the mid 80's and loved it so much that I wanted the Buck 112 Ranger and I still have and use both. This knife is a little smaller than the 110 but is just as strong and makes for a great utility lock back folder. The blade is sharp and stays that way, the knife is made for a lifetime of use with solid strength and locks up with no play whatsoever! Like a bank vault! CLICK! This is quality through and through if you're in need of a lock back folder for utility work and to hand down to your children. The belt sheath pouch is top quality, too! In strength and durability the Buck 112 will out-last any liner lock easily. It's great for hiking, hunting, and camping and for anything a quality knife is expected to do. Which do I love best the Hunter or Ranger.... I'd have to flip a coin to decide.
