The Third Edition in the Black Ops series from Smith & Wesson, this Black Ops 3 tactical folder offers a unique, ergonomic handle pattern constructed of impact resistant aluminum. Each 4034 stainless steel blade is black-coated and features the M.A.G.I.C. assisted-open mechanism that can be activated by the ambidextrous thumb stud or the finger actuator on the back of the blade which springs the blade open at a phenomenal speed. A blade safety switch ensures no accidental opens and a liner lock ensures the blade doesn't accidentally close while in use. 4 3/10" closed

This knife is great. Very well made and the assisted opening action is top knotch and super fast. It is wicked looking. Wouldn't want someone after me with it. Carry it everyday for self protection. Since it's hard to get a carry permit in the "Tax & Spend" liberal state of Maryland you better have something to protect yourself for when the free stuff starts to run out! Great knife!Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

This knife is under rated. Out of all the S&W I have had, this one is on the top of my list. The 1star rate person, if you don't like it then send it back. If it broke, well not everything is perfect. It happens, just get a new one.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

I was going back and forth between spending $5-$10 on a pocket knife and dropping the $40 on this knife. I'm extremely glad I chose the latter. This knifes spring action is solid, it has a nice feel to it weight wise and has a fantastic grip no matter which angle you're holding it from. It arrived extremely sharp (I even nicked myself a few times, but that's my fault) and has cut everything I've thrown at it cleanly. Once again, awesome knife.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

This knife is both sharp and strong.I have used it to cut thru pex tubing with no problem,amoung other stuff.I have read onne of these comments that the knife broke in 2 days.Whatever he was doing to it should probably not be done with a knife.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

I've wanted to buy an assisted opening knife for some time and finally bit the bullet and bought this one. The knife's fit and finish is very good and the assisted opening works very easy and smooth. The safety locks the blade well. For this price point, the knife is an excellent value. This being my first assisted opener I can't compare it to others but, I'm very satisfied with this one. As a matter of fact, I ordered a second one as a gift for a friend who also is a knife collector.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes
