A nice multi-purpose bowie indeed. Anytime, anywhere is a pretty accurate description for what you can do with this knife. I just received mine and it needed to be sharpened a little, but nothing to whine about. I am however impressed with the weight and solidity of this knife. That 's definitely something I look for in a Bowie. Also the two saws are amazing. The smaller saw I can use to saw at nails or use for aluminum cans. The larger saw I could use on larger volumes of aluminum in a survival situation which would actually be very convenient. I have tested both of those theories and it works very well. The smooth part of the blade its self is so sturdy you can use it to hack wood without having to use the batoning technique. It could also be good to skin large game or even useful for filleting fish. It doesn't however have a hammer butt and honestly that's the only thing negative that I have to say about it. I'm amazed that budk is selling such a decent knife at a low price. I honestly wasn't expecting it to be anything special. I wouldn't suggest using this knife in a combat scenario unless you absolutely had to, because it would be cumbersome because of its size and weight. It would probably do you more harm than good, and Tanto knives are better for that in my opinion. On the other hand, I will definitely be taking this knife camping, because it will prove very useful.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

This is a very nice knife with a good blade and h**l yea you are going to look like rambo with it it is huge. The only problem i have with it is the sheath it will tear up if your not careful. I went camping and put this knife through h**l and all it got was a tiny chip from me accidently hitting a metal chain. For 20 bucks you cant get a better knife.Would you recommend this to a friend?
