okc blades are bar none at any price my choice, I have had 3 machetes in my life, I use them for pruning to quickly dispatching arrowed carp. and everything in between. the saw actually works very well and doesn't load up like others machetes i've owned. the heavy and flexible steel blade seems more durable compared to some of the stainless blades i've used. the full tang construction is the key to longevity! this tool is the last machete you will ever need.

I own this particular machete and it is of high quality. You may have to sharpen it yourself, depending on what you are going to use it for. It is important to note that the handle is fairly slippery. It would be a very good idea to get a cord wrapping or tape so it does not slip out of your hand. Otherwise, it is a fantastic buy!

Lets see how it holds up against the gerber sawback, the gerber's hilt is better for skilled wielders, but this military one may be better metal.
