Yes, the sheath is hard plastic wrapped with heavy duty nylon. There is a metal clip on the back of the sheath that attaches it to the harness, belt, boot etc. It is only attached to the nylon and after just one day of use the nylon started to fray and now the clip is lose, its still works though. As for the knife: It is comfortable to hold and the grip feels good in the hand. The knife wasn't extremely sharp out of the box but it should be able to be sharpened well. The blade feels solid with the handle. Unlike what some people have said, the shoulder strap is easy to put on and is very comfortable. It goes around your arm, behind your neck and has a metal clip (like suspenders) that you attach to your belt/ pants.

I really like this knife, it came sharp right out of the box, but I'll touch it up later. The shipping was pretty timely, and the harness wasn't as hard to figure out as everyone here keeps saying it is. The picture pretty much explains it. Good buy BUDK!

an absolutely excellent knife. it is perfect except that handle sticks out a bit with the shoulder harness on. it pulls the knife up under my arm instead of where its supposed to be. but still great, esp for the price.

The Knife is Good Overall I dont really know how to put the harness around my belt but its a good knife. The grip is good and its just a good knife. I highly Recommend it

the knife itself is amazing i would recommend it to anybody... but the sheath itself leaves some to be desired. but with a little work the sheath will turn out great.

amazing knife when i recieved it i was extremely happy the shoulder harness isnt that great but the sheath is a nylon cover but underneath its hard so it holds the knife great holds a great edge and its very solid
