This Minimalist Tanto is designed by custom knifemaker and metalworker, Alan Folts. The 2.125" Tanto blade shape is very strong because of the strong central spine of metal, which extends nearly to the tip. Each Tanto features full-tang 5Cr15MoV blades, aided by three finger choils, friction grooves for the thumb, hand-contoured green-Micarta scales, and a braided fob. This version has a straight razor-sharp front edge, which allows push cutting, and a concave main edge which feeds material into the edge for fast cutting. Columbia River, 2386

This knife is awesome. It came out of the box razor sharp and held the edge. The plastic sheath is nice except for the belt loop makes it so that I have to take off my belt to take it off. The lanyard on the end is nice but when I went to modify it with a pinky loop instead I found that they some how attached it in a way that I couldn't add anything else.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

This is a simple small knife. I keep mine on the strap of my back pack. A lot of pals have said it's too small for work, but when I pull it out the opinions quickly change. I've now received several compliments. This is a sturdy little blade with a nice edge. Makes a quick utility knife.
