I appreciate things that are well made and fit precisely into the reasons behind why you purchased it to fit a specific need or needs. I go camping often and wanted something as a first goto tool when needed. This product is no toy, well balanced, with its molle sheath it is light weight, very sharp and attached to my back pack over my right shoulder. I was surprised how often I turned to this knife in the field and used it; this included using like a light axe to delimb branches, cleaning out a rattlesnake for dinner, used as a dinner knife, and this to include quickly dressing out a deer. Don't make the mistake thinking this knife is not sharp - it is and it will present a razor sharp blade if you want to work at it. I have used this knife for over a year, a field many times and no matter the useage this knife remains sharp/very sharp. It is also very well balanced and feels very comfortable in either of my hands. For defensive work be very careful of someone who knows defensive knife tactics and technique this knife with just touching the blade can draw blood so you can imagine the damage the 6 1/2 inch blade can do. All around this was a very good purchase and this is mounted to my hunting/camping back pack. The sheath has a pocket for sharpening stone I use that pocket to carry a spare double stack magazine. I am also going to purchase another for my go pack or three day pack...the next one I want the black blade and not the shiny stainless steel blade as the SS blade is very reflective of light (shiny enough to replace a survival mirror), excellent for around the camp and day work; a draw back in night defesive work. Very pleased with this excellent product.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes
