This knife would have gotten 5 stars had it been sharper. Sturdy sheath included. I like this Karambit because it is a solid piece of steel. No rivets, levers, nothing. It is very strong and feels good in your hand whichever way you hold it.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

This is a great karambit, The shieth is good, and very workable on any belt, and the blade -with a bit of sharpening- is very effective to have on yourself.

Out of the box these are soem greasy little critters. But with a little bit of towel lovin' you can get rid of all that. The tip is very sharp and thicker so it wont snap off. The blade itself is not very sharp at all. This is a difficult knife to sharpen with regular sharpeners, I recommend using a sharpening wand (the kind you hone kitchen knives on). If you are persistant, you can achieve a decent blade on it within an hour. The grip is perfect for someone with large hands. Mine hands are medium large and the knife handle (holes and finger grip positioning) feels a little wide spaced when holding the knife in the manner a karambit is to be held. I plan on wrapping the middle of the knife with something (paracord, duct tape, electrical tape) to beef the handle up a bit. If you are looking not to have to do that, I would recommend the Honsho karambit. Looks like a very nice knife, I just didn't want to spend the money on it. The knife is very concealable, I wear mine all the time now and don't even know its there except when I am in the gym doing an overhead press and the shirt rises above the knife, then anyone can see it. but aside from that.. . I would definately recommend this knife to someone looking for a good quality karambit. These babies were ment to do some serious damage! Practice the draw over and over, before sharpening for obvious reasons.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

Like a couple of the other review's say, the knife has a super sharp tip, but the blade itself is almost rounded. I have a WORKSHARP knife sharpener and had to use it on this knife for about 45 minutes to get the blade razor sharp. I can shave with the thing if I wanted to now. Great sheath, can be worn with a belt. Good buy for the price.

Ordered this a bit ago, thought i would write a review. first off, out of the box the point is wicked sharp, but the inside curve of the blade could be improved on and the outside is rounded. the sheath is of good quality, and with practice this knife can be drawn faster than any assisted open. sticks out a little bit but if you wear loose clothing it is easy to conceal. bigger than expected, but hey, bigger is better! Overall this is a great knife and i would recommend it.Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

It is a good blade I got mine today and it wasn't what I expected. The edge on the back was not sharp as I was lead to believe, but that's fine the sheath is a really good sheath, it was a lot bigger than expected tho but still a great blade. I would recommend it to anyone.

Ordered this sweet little blade Tuesday, standard shipping. Picked it up today while at work. This awesome blade feels even better in your hands, and the adjustable sheath is a nice addition to an otherwise underrated piece.

As others have said, this knife is really not that sharp, nor is it double edged. The reverse edge is an extremely wide false edge that would take a considerable amount of time to actually put a working edge on. As for the knife overall, it does have a great intimidation factor and would serve well in a self defense situation.

Got this knife on sale so can't complain about the price. It is -not- double edged. The back of the blade is a very blunt V shape. The front edge is pretty dull as well, only the point is sharp. After I get an edge formed on the back it will make a good slasher which is what it was made for. If anyone finds the handle uncomfortable just get a can of that rubber tool coating and dip the handle in it. Sheath is mediocre in quality but I usually make my own anyway. So with a little work it will serve as well as a much more expensive knife. I recommend it.

Worth every bit the money you pay for this skeleton knife. Metal holds an edge and can be sharpened remarkably sharp. Being a skeleton knife makes it a bit uncomfortable if your hand doesn't fit the pattern. But still very usable. Excellent buy.
