This is a nice looking sword that reflect the archetype of the classic "medieval" sword. The Sword is solid overall, but the handle is plastic. If it were wood, it would be perfect.

Very nice sword. The holder in the picture is sold separate but around five bucks its not a bad investment. It is a very detailed and heavy sword. Definitely worth the price. Fine addition to collection.

Beautiful sword, my wife bought this sword for me for my birthday, and I have to say its well worth the price. The picture does not do it justice, its nice big and heavy with extraordinary detail. Overall great sword. Editor's Note: Thank you for your comments. We have updated the review to reflect the appropriate spelling.

I got it for my best friend who is in love with romantic idea of civalry. It is an excelent sword for the price. It is also a lot of metal, you get an apreciation for how beefy the knights must have been to swing these in a fight one handed. It is 420 steel, meaning its too hard and brittle to be so big, so you should hold it over a campfire for a few minutes to temper the steel near the hilt if you plan to hack things with it. I give it a 4 because it wasnt a convincing recreation to me.
