It is very true that this blade is a little off balance, but than can be easily fixed. And, as for those saying not to hit anything with this are simply not true. Since I have received the blade it was not only beautiful, but I have cut through several 3 inch pieces of wood and water jugs. The only problem I have with the blade of course is the rusting, so make sure to keep it dry and oil it up.

Nodachi are to the Katana, like the hairless cat is to cats. lol, it looks cool, but I had to get use to it. I had to balance the sword which helped it feel more secure in my hand and also increased it's over all performance. I bought this sword because it has a Shinwa blade and looked cool!
