I contacted Budk with the question, "Will this scope fit your Avalanche Trail Balzer crossbow?" Unfortunately they could not answer the question. I took a chance and ordered the Mil-Dot scope. I had to make some modifications, but it worked. I had to remove the original site. A washer must be installed under the rear Allen bolt to keep the cocking assembly in place. Then had to mount a piece of 1/8" X 5/8 X 3" long piece of alumuinum in its place using the Phillip's screws from the original site. Then mounted the scope to the piece of aluminum of which I beveled the sides. Be careful when sighting in the scope after this modification. The first shot was 18" above the target. Have Fun!
