Innovative Southern twist on the popular sword cane. A replica Civil War rifle measuring 41 1/2" in length actually is a sword cane. The rifle slides apart to reveal a 27 7/8" 420 stainless steel blade held in the butt end while the rifle barrel acts as a sheath. Handle and sheath both are of matching cast metal and wood. Handle has attached color plate of famed Confederate General Robert E. Lee. Trigger and flint lock are movable. 11 1/4" overall butt of the sword. United Cutlery, XL1087.

I just got this yesterday and the first thing that came into my head was disappointment. I thought it be closer to a replica than it actually was. Also one of the top metal plates fell off of it in the first day. The last problem i had with it was that it took both my friend and I to get it open, its been getting easier but still a challenge. A good thing about this sword is that it actually comes with a decent edge on it right out of the box which did surprise me. Also the blade doesn't wiggle a lot when swinging it our around and I also liked how they actually used wood on this it makes it feel real. Another thing that surprised me was how natural it felt to hold the butt of the rifle as the handle of the sword once it was out from the sheath. Overall I still think it was a good buy for the money that I spent on it, but it will be a wall piece and a cool conversation starter for the future.
