In South Africa, an inexpensive ring lock folder is sold everywhere. It's a good design, but it's constructed from sub-standard materials, is poorly made, and is horribly overpriced. The Cold Steel Kuda, takes some cues from it's South African competition, but this version is vastly superior. Features a Krupp 4116 stainless steel flat ground blade, heat tempered to Rc 56-57. The locking mechanism will hold the blade rigidly open until you decide to close it by pulling up on the ring attached to the back spring. The handle is made of 43% glass reinforced Zytel and the gripping surface has a wood grain texture for traction and a Kudu horn emblem. 4 1/4" blade, 10" overall

    Nice not-so-little pocket knife

Typical Cold Steel Value. Light weight, durable, great blade locking feature, blade takes and holds an edge well. The knife feels light in your hand but sturdy enough to install confidence. Despite its light weight and slim design it is still a large lock blade, might not be ideal for everyone's EDK. Very good knife. Glad I bought it.

Cold steel always makes great products that are strong and will last. this is just another example of just that. this knife is not so tiny in person, for 7.99 you actually get a decent sized blade and handle strong enough to take some stress. I am very happy with this item.

big blade, this photo does no do it justice, it is razor sharp (i could shave if i wanted to with it) and is very comfortable to handle, only down side is that it takes some power to open and close it but that might be because its brand new. thank you trueswords!

Awesome knife! i bought it for my little brother for his birthday(he wanted spring assisted, i didn't trust him). the handle sits in your hand very well, and doesn't feel cheap. the blade is a little hard to close at first but you get used to it.
