The Cold Steel Samburu Spear was designed after the Samburu tribe of Kenya. Known for their impressive spears, the Samburu warriors used these spears to deter animals from their flocks and herds, as well as enemies. The Samburu spear was the most advanced and state of the art spear of its type. So, Cold Steel's Micro version is just that: a miniature version of the warrior spear of the Samburu. The 1055 Carbon Steel blade is welded to a thick steel shaft for balance and features a strong, black Hickory handle. This spear can be used at long distances and always hits hard and penetrates deeply. Includes a Secure-Ex sheath.

Pros:good weight to it,feels nice in your hands, and didn't take long to start hitting stuff about twenty five feet with decent accuracy
Cons: the screws that hold each section are going to require you to actually drill into the center piece where they will fit into.so if you think you can just simply put it together it's actually going to require you to do some work on it first.also after about the fifth throw the metal welds starts to give a bit and it's starts to bend off balance making you have to bend it back after each throw.
I give it a two because you can make this work but for the price you might as well get a complete spear and not a three section one
