Gerber EAB Lite Fine Pocket Utility Knife

I got this little folding razor about a year ago. It has been my go to tool, I use it to remove tape from paint jobs, cut string and zip ties, anything! it has the perfect blade for wood carving and uses standard blades. Everyone knows that wood carving dulls a blade quick, with this you can switch out the blade, of which they use standard little steel box cutter blades available anywhere. To change the blade you don't need a screw driver, the flat head screw was ingeniously made big enough for a dime or penny to be used as the screwdriver. Tip: you don't have to keep buying razors, you can keep sharpening the same one with a handheld quick sharpener (available by CHKadels/BUDK/Kennesaw), I did one razor for 12 months! With a little practice you can flip this thing open with one handed (better for righties though). A bonus was that I went to community college (in Virginia) and they were doing security checks. They asked if I had any weapons on me and I showed them my little gerber folding razor. They looked at it, handed it back to me and let me go about my business (I would still check don't assume that they will be ok with this little folder). I like it so much, I buy them to give as gifts! I ditched my fixed blades and crappy folders, this is the handyman's special!

Of all the knives and little gadgets I have bought from this site, by far this little booger is my absolute favorite. Highly recommended, no doubt about, and if you do not agree with my assessment once you decide to purchase this, then you, oh sad and pathetic one, is just a hard person to please and should never consider marriage. For you will never be please with whomever or whatever you have.

This thing is the most useful tool I own. I carry it with me everywhere 100% of the time and am glad for it. I had the older style gerber EAB that came before this one, and it was such a usefull good knife, that a temp stole it from me. But now I got this one and it is even better. Its ultra slim profile and light weight make it so it can go with you everywhere clipped in a pocket, wallet, purse or vehicle and you will never have to open plastic with your teeth again! I will purchase more of these for my friends as everyone needs this knife.

This is a great little knife! I keep mine always on me, and use it more than any of the other knives I own. Gerber quality with a replaceable blade. This knife is small enough to fit in a survival tin and has a liner lock to keep all my fingers where they belong. Great value!
