KA-BAR Becker BK2 Knife with Sheath

This knife will last forever...literally. I have NEVER owned a knife that had a blade this thick. You could pry a door open no problem. This blade would NEVER break. Its a good looking knife, has a good feel to it although it is a bit heavy in the hand. The look of it isnt that amazing, kinda feels a bit like a kitchen knife. In a survival situation this would be the knife to have as it could be used for a lot of tasks and take a beating without ever breaking down. It would make a good knife for skinning as the description says. Not the coolest knife i own but very practical and well built.

I've had this knife for over a year, and it's SWEET. I also have to agree with John in that the survival knives with the stuff in the handle is junk because this means the knife isn't full tang and the blade will snap off on your first hit. But THIS knife is well worth the money. It is a SUPER thick, heavy duty, high quality steel blade. The sheath simply rocks too. You will NOT be disappointed. I've cut down TREES with this thing at camping in the woods...Still sharp too. Please, buy this knife. Best survival/camping/whatever else knife EVER!

I love this knife. All around great,TOUGH knife. Great camp/survival knife..(The cheap survival knives with 'items' in the hollow handle are a Joke). Make yourself a much better kit to go along with a great knife.If the handle is hollow the knife's strength is greatly compromised. Get yourself a good,fixed blade knife such as this one,or Gerber's that has a full tang(steel runs the full length,tip to butt) for strength.The Kit you make should contain better items than 3 cheap matches and some crap fishing gear. Do your homework and make a good survival tin...Firesteel,Tinder,good fishline,hooks,flies,a guitar string for snares,some elect tape,gauze...you get the idea. It's all common sense if you think about it. This knife WILL do what you ask it too..use your head for the rest!!
