Solid, sturdy and razor sharp

What a sharp little knife! Yeah it’s a lame pun, but it’s double-edged meaning really does apply here, because it’s both a great looking knife, and it comes razor sharp right out of the box—and I do mean “razor.” At 3 1/2”, the closed knife is the perfect pocket-length for a small, traditional EDC. Weighing a mere 2.2 oz., you hardly notice it in your pocket. I love that about it. But I also love the fact that, despite its small size and light weight, the knife is as solid and sturdy as they come. It’s a genuine can-do workhorse, and hasn’t failed to impress me yet when accomplishing everyday cutting tasks. Speaking of solid and sturdy, the knife’s 2 5/8” Damascus blade is not only a beauty to behold, but is a pleasure to sharpen and holds an edge quite well. It arrives at your house hair-shaving sharp (I know because I did so), so be careful when handling it. Despite its small profile, the knife really is eye-catching. The intricately designed Damascus blade and matching bolster in contrast with the ivory color of the bone scales can’t help but be noticeable to the eyes. I’ve already received several compliments and inquiries about the knife, all triggered because of its striking good looks. The only challenge I’m finding with this knife has to do with keeping the white bone scales nice and clean. Luckily, they seem to clean fairly easily, even with the grooves. What works best for me is to clean the scales every time I carry the knife that day (with a soft cloth and something mild like dish soap, but nothing ever harsh, and using a toothpick in between the grooves as need be). It may sound like a pain, but it’s really not. To me it’s totally worth it to prevent the grime from building up and causing a greater problem. Anyway, if you like this style of knife, I highly recommend it. It has both rugged functionality and class. The fit and finish are very, very good, and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed at all. Hope this helped in some small way.
