I have the blue knife. It feels sturdy and it looks better in person (at least the blue one does) than on the screen. The blue in the inlays just pop against the black. This knife functions great and makes a good EDC. Well worth the money for this knife. If you are thinking of buying this knife, just go for it.
A sturdy knife that operates as promised, colors add personalization, would be a good every day carry knife at a good price. A nice gift for some one who would appreciate these features.
I picked up the orange one and it came a shade darker than what is pictured. Could be my monitor though I'm uncertain. This is not a problem for me though. I like the feel and texture of this knife. It has a heavy handle and a powerful assist. Needed a little bit of sharpening but nothing difficult. The glass breaker pommel works well (which is rare for this price point) and is securely anchored. This is a good cheap EDC, pick up a few when on sale.
This is actually decent folding knife for use as a popular priced EDC - or whatever need it might adapt to considering that everyone has different needs and expectations in a good, functional pocket knife.. Surprisingly hefty fit and feel is welcome as is the assisted opening featuring double thumb studs along with the always convenient flapper (?) My only take away for the Matrix is the colors may not be everyone's cup of tea. I selected the purple option and I'm OK with it. This product is absolutely worth your consideration if you are in the market for these features and this price range.
