Black Legion Ninja "Bag of Tricks" - Knife, Push Dagger, Spikes, Caltrops in Nylon Sheath

For just under $18.00, this is an excellent deal. The knife is strong enough; stronger than kitchen knives, not as strong as thicker nubting knives, but still strong enough. The scales for the grip are slightly small, so the hilt edges contact the hand. The scabbard is 2 plastic pices riveted together, and the rivets on mine were not completely set, so I had to tap them down with a hammer. The caltrops are about half the size of the ones frequently available here; not a problm, but worth knowing. At the $18.00 price point, all of these are okay. The only unexpected issue is the scabbard. The blade fits correctly only one way. If you are left-handed, then this scabbard is correct for you. If you are right-handed, then the scabbard is backwards. This means that if you wear it like a sword, then the blade edge will be up, like a katana, and therefore must be drawn like a katana. If you wear it on your belt on your right side, the blade will be up. If your normal grip is ice-pick style, the the edge will be correctly oriented. The blade was not particularly sharp, but sharp enough. I think I will sharpen it a bit, but fur durability, not shaving. I have a straight razor for shaving. Overall, I recommend this item.

My Tanto blade sits wobbly loose in its plastic sheath so a wrap of bandage elastic tape in camouflage coloring aka GEARAID at its base made it snug. The sheath's huge belt loop has it way too shifty so instead Zip-tie it to your belt like the G.I. pistol belt's nearest eyelet holes originally to hang pouches. WD40 or CLP oil the spikes so they come out faster.

This blade was extremely sharp when I got it but the handle is extremely cheap. The caltrops are real deal and the spikes can be used for stabbing not throwing unless you're a real ninja. I really like the knife but the handle was too slippery and fragile.

This is surprising quality for the price. I had a bit of difficulty drawing the bo shuriken on the first try but it got easier, the push knife is excellent, and the blade itself is well made and balanced. I am highly satisfied. If you are debating the purchase-do it, it is worth the price.

Brought this blade a while back. I still use it quite often for an array of applications. Blade is dang strong stays sharp. But if need be, sharpens fast, ez, great edge retention. Hidden push got loosened after a few draws(i put a epoxy coating along the center on both sides, problem solved still fully functional). Great buy.

this is an awesome knife setup, the caltrops are 1/2 the size as my others they are perfect for this multi functional weapon. i would have went with velcro closier on the caltrops other then the snap but all in all its perfect.

For 15 dollars you can't beat this interesting combination. The Tanto isn't made of the best qaulity metal but for the price its good. Solid enough. The push dagger comes out of the handle of the tanto and has a decent point. Although it is a bit dull on the sides. The spikes are end in a sharp point, and the caltrops, while small, are sharp as well. All in all a fun piece for anyone at this price.

I love this set, it may not be the best steel but it is awesome, comes with so many gadgets and has a great price!

Bought this blade last year and I am very happy with it, the blade itself is great and the sheath is just as good. Would recommend this and will eventually buy another one soon.

The caltrops are sharp. My right thumb got bloody just by touching. The storage compartment for the caltrops was easy to open. The darts are hard to remove, once removed they are sharp. The push dagger and main blade were not as sharp as I thought they would be. The handle on the main blade can be removed for cleaning and then reassembled. Overall great price for well made knife that should cost three times than the original price.

This is a great buy, and a good price. The knife is easily loosened from the sheath but the button strap keeps it from falling. The push dagger comes out easily but won't fall out due without pulling it. The throwing spikes and caltops are a nice touch as well. Overall a great buy.

great product, knife is sharp. the push dagger is easy to pull out but it wont fall out when using the knife. the throwing spikes are small but effective, i now spend hours throwing them at boxes. 2 downsides though, 1 the caltrop box is hard to open and 2 the top spike gets in the way of the band that holds the knife in so you have to work areound it

the knife was amazing and my favorite part was the pushdagger, i think that the caltrops were almost totally useless but still fun to have..... it is a great gift to buy

i love this knife the spikes stuck right in wood the caltrops stuck in my shoe the push dagger fits snug in main knife the main knife locks into sheath very nice plastic sheath i give it a 5/5 exelent job

one of the best knife sets I have ever boght, and is a hell of a deal

arrived approximately one day after ordering it. Blade came with a fairly decent edge onto it that just needs fine tuning, caltrops are easily stacked and stay stored easily, and the push dagger has a very good edge onto it. much smaller than i thought, based on the image, but i happen to like the size.

i received this shortly after i ordered it the tanto itself is very strong and sturdy and the push dagger is very securely in the knife the caltrop are a good size, the throwing spikes are cool and everything looks great where it is all putt in the sheath i don't like that there it is has a left handed sheath but its a great knife and everything is packed tightly in the sheath the push dagger isn't very sharp, but a great buy for $19.99. thanks True Swords ^_^

beyond what i expected! blade is thick and very durable. mini dagger stays in place and is a nice addition. darts came sharp and stay tight in my sheath. caltrops are a little smaller than i expected. sheath is tough and a higher quality for this price. another great purchase!

I have to admit, this knife is really cool. The push knife stays in very well, the caltrops also have a very functional release. The spikes however, do not stay in well enough, and fall out pretty easily. The strap holding the blade in doesn't fit exactly the right way, it wont fall out but it does slide around a little in the case. good buy for the money you spend

this knife is awasome, its sturdy, sharp, and very nicely crafted. the push dagger is hidden well and i love it, the caltrop has yet to be used, but looks fun, and the throwing needles are all sharp but one was dull. overall, i love this knife, i would trust this knife

Got this package yesterday and I am very pleased. The knife iteslf is awesome, perfect length and weight and showed up sharp.<br />The Push Dagger, Throwing Spikes and Caltrops showed up sharp as well, read alot of reviews mentioning a problem with the spikes...guess that got solved.<br />My only complaint,The knife is just a little lose in the case, but not so much it's a problem.<br />All in all I am very pleased, well worth what I paid. and I will be back to True Swords in the near future.

this looks like a kool knife has tons of crap for a kool feel of a ninja i read other reviews and said 2 spikes are not that sharp so i hope mine will be good and if you wanna buy it get it on monday an you will get it thursday or friday i got it tuesday and it wont get here till august 5 so ya

Good knife. Everything was sharp except for two of the darts....easy fix, don't let that stop your purchase. This was a very economical price for everything included.

I recieved my knife yesterday and i immeidatly took the spikes and threw them into a tree in my front yard, they did stick in but not very deep cuz they arent sharpened, i also need to work on my technique. The knife i very sharp, i can cut a piece of paper clean in half without actually putting any tention on the paper. the push dager is extremly sharp and the point is shaper than it looks. i touched the tip to see how good it is and placed a small amout of preasure on it, this did puncture my finger. This is an amazing knife for an extremly satisfying price. True swords sellls the best quality and with the lowest prices i have ever seen.

just got this in the mail the other day worth the $20 all my spikes were sharp and i didnt really find anything wrong with my set a great buy

Good knife, especially for the price. I did, aswell as many others, receive the throwing spikes and notice only one of them was sharp. Nothing a little sharpening didn't fix though.<br />This is a great deal and definately worth buying.

I bought one and I love it the knife is perfect and the push dagger is awesome and well hidden. The only thing is that 2 of my spikes weren’t as sharp as the other but easy fix. Don’t let that stop u everything else is perfect and its cheap.

its sharp as hell i got a pretty nasty cut from just touching it ^^ the push dagger is awesome and makes you just wanna tear into something ( or someone hehe) the needles are hard as hell to throw abd only one of them is really sharp but over all its a great buy Camein three days ! ....try not to loose any of the catrops though...i made that mistake but i found it -_- just no the way i wanted to

this tanto is magnifacent. blade is very sharp, as is the push dagger. the spikes however ar very dull but i fixed it with a sharpener. the caltrops are a lil small but serve their perpose. but i love it!

This knife is well worth the money. Every thing is great but the throwing spikes are to small to hurt very bad. Overall it's a GREAT buy.

my knife just came in today. it took about 6 days for it to arrive, but that is to be expected, since i live in oregon. i love this knife! the blades of the push dagger and the tanto are sharp, and so are the caltops and the throwing spikes. i think the blade is well balanced and that it is a full tang also makes even better. i give this product a 5 out of 5. this is product is the best i've bought from ts. it's a great buy for the price. i'd even be willing to pay $10 more for it.

Just arrived today. Ordered two days ago. Awesome turn around.<br /><br />Both of the packages I ordered came in perfect. The tantos themselves are a bit on the small side (more like butcher knives than anything else), and were not exceptionally sharp. The punching daggers were both perfectly sharp and easy to hold. Throwing spikes are not that sharp, but will easily cause some form of damage if thrown - they may not stick into a target, but they'll cause bleeding if thrown into a living creature (no, I did not try this. Just stating facts).<br /><br />The caltrops are smaller than I had expected, but definitely look like a major nuisance. The sheath is amazing, however. All in all, a great buy.

WOW! By far one of the best purchases I've made for TS. The knife is simply amazing. <br />-It's got an awesome bend to it. <br />-It fits perfectly in your hand.<br />-The caltrops are housed in a small compartment with a leather flap to keep them in place. <br />-the little punch knife is well hidden, and fits perfectly between your fingers.<br />-the grips are plastic, but somehow it s still feels great. In my opinion, the knife is not cheapened by the grips at all.<br />-the spikes are a little flat on the tips, but is no problem if you have a grinder.<br /><br />All in all, An EXCELLENT BUY!

Its a nice looking product, some what sharp

I got this knife because of the look of the tanto blade and the hidden caltrops. The blade is sharp and much heavier then I expected. The caltrops are smaller then the 10 pack for sale on this site but I like them and the points are good. This is my 5th knife with a tanto blade. When my friends hold this knife they never expect the hidden weapons. I hope Trueswords will make a sword version as a set.

I have wanted this for a while. I finally decided to pick it up and I'm glad that I did. The knife is great quality and the little pull out knife at the top of the handle is awesome. The other weapons are nice quality too. The reason I gave this 4 stars is because when I opened the box the snap on the caltrop box was broken off. The Snap that holds the knife in place is super hard to snap closed. Otherwise this is good for my survival kit. I'm happy and I recommend.

very sharp nice blade nice push dagger n nice caltrops a lil small tho, but i like. I havent been able to get the dang spikes out tho :-( n handle very cheap plastic i chipped it lil jus by accidentally dropping on hardwood floor, but for price, its a nice knife blade great sharp. how do i get spikes out to use em?

So I got the blade because it seemed like a fun little setup, and so far I enjoy all of it, but the spikes are a huge pain to pull out, and the push dagger is far too small to be used safely for nearly anyone I know, as they would hurt themselves on the blade. The caltrops work as advertised, but seem mildly flimsy. Altogether I am happy with the product, just mildly let down by a few things. TLDR: Would buy again, just wish it was higher quality.

The Sheath is pretty nice because you can quickly release the knife and it has the strap holes on the sides so you can mount it pretty much any where on your body. The push knife in the handle is awesome and so is the knife itself. The only thing I don't really like is that the darts are so hard to pull out, you literally have to pull the knife out then you can draw the darts. Other then that everything is pretty great.

Such a great bargain! It's a little hard to open the caltrops case and the push dagger is a little small but otherwise it's great, the only other improvement would be is if this could be mounted on your forearm instead of just a belt loop

Great for the price sharp spikes although a bit hard to pull out of the sheath the caltrops land perfect every time but it would have to be a thin thread for the price you can't beat it

It is a nice solid piece of metal. i dont like ow the push dagger is loose and can fall out.

This a neat little novelty piece. Definitely good for light use or out goofing around in the woods.

This knife is defiently good for the price. the push blade is my favorit thing about the knife. its doesnt fall out, yet it come out easy, and fits good between your fingers. the knife itself is ok, the only thing i dont like is it has pretty cheap plastic on the handle. the little spiked things are cool but once you take em out theyre hard to put back in, and the throwing spikes are pretty light and hard to get to stick into anything, you gotta chuck em. but like i said, for the price you cant beat it, it looks really cool, and is versatile witch is always good.

This battle package is a great knife.<br />I have had this knife for a week now and there are only a few problems that I have noticed so far:<br />1. Two spikes came extremly dull and one came with a fairly nice tip<br />2. The caltrop compartment is a little bit difficult to open.<br />3. It seems the darts are easier to get at when the knife is unsheathed.<br />4. The knife came a bit dull.<br /><br />Other than that, this is a great Knife I Would recommend it.

where to start.... The knife handle feels very cheap (plastic) .. the knife does not "click" into sheath, caltrops only fit in box when aligned perfectly, needles are pretty tiny.. (recommend ninja assault spikes from trues words).. the push does however stay tight in the handle (due to a foam inside) OVER ALL i like the knife even though it says FANTASY MASTER at the top of the blade (i can deal with that haha) BLADE feels sturdy enough, and sheath is good because its plastic and wont tear (belt loop is nylon but no contact with blade) I would say 3 out of 5, but give it 4 out of 5 because its pretty damn cool.

push dagger is snug. caltrops are perfect (hard to mess up bent metal haha). darts are basically useless because their cheap metal and too short but can easily be used as tools for other uses besides their projectile intent. the tanto itself is incredible. sharp, strong, well made, and the handle is perfect. draw for this knife is reversed in the sheath so if your not a fan of an upside down hold then you may not be interested in this buy.

Its sharp very sturdy, have a little bit of a hard time getting the little spikes in the holder but other then that and not recieving the dagger with it (had to reorder it and got it for free :) )Its verry good.

I LOVE weaons made by "Fantasy Master," because they're unique, unusual, but functional as well, and this knife, with a few hidden ninja tricks onboard, makes this knife very unique, indeed. It's not JUST a knife, but a mini ninja kit! The little push-dagger hidden in the back end of the handle is virtually undetectable until pulled out. The 3 little throwing darts are a little small & light to throw & actually stick & do any damage (I tried them on my dartboard), and they could stand to be sharpened a bit, but they look cool, at least. And the little box of caltrops at the bottom of the sheath (believe it or not there are 10 caltrops in there) are a cool addition as well...you could be running from a foe, flip open the cover, letting caltrops fall behind you, slowing down your enemy... except that the snap that holds the caltrop box closed is REALLY hard to unsnap. Maybe it's just my knife, but I actually have to use the mini knife to pry the caltrop box open. It's almost impossible to do with your fingers. So the only flaws are that the darts are dull & not heavy enough to throw, and the caltrop box is very difficult to open...otherwise it's a very nice knife, very sharp, and a cool addition to anyone's NINJA weapons collection. Or, the knife would make a great fully-functioning camping/protection weapon.

i got mine this morning and started playing with it right away. i do not know if it is meant to be this loose but you should tighten it when you open the package. this was my 16th birthday present and it is awesome! but i already lost two of the screws to it. and i do not own a hex key, so i have to go have ken tighten. all and all it is a pretty sweet set. ^_^

Very nice knife, but the dragon tanto is much better. I would defiantly recommend this to any collector or person that likes knives. But, if you could, I would recommend you to get the dragon tanto if it is in stock

Just got the set, it's pretty decent. Only complaint is that everything isn't that sharp. Amazing for the price!

Its a amazing piece but its not full tang the knife is not sharp the hidden dagger is tho the trowing darts are too but the caltrop's arnt that sharp ether but still love this knife.

The handle pieces are loose and won't tighten up. It seems its made to carry on the left side otherwise if you pull it with your right hand the blade is backwards. The spikes can't be pulled with the blade in place, otherwise its ok

i got this item two days after order it is mostly amazing. the two problems i have are that the throwing spikes are hard to get out and the sheath is loose and floppy

The handle is cheap but the blade feels durable. The throwing spikes are tiny and not really effective unless using for stabbing. The hidden push dagger doesn't sit well in its location. The Caltrop holder is a little difficult to open and hard to close.

Caltrops too small for any real use, the spikes are next to worthless, but the tanto itself and the push knife are both good. Hefty, but take time to sharpen. Overall, it's ok, but I wouldn't buy another one

I'm just gonna keep this as simple as I can.<br />1) the push dagger is very loose and doesn't stay in that well. That might just be because the end of the handle is cracked.<br />2) the knife and dagger came duller than what I expected, nothing a little sharpening can't fix though.<br />3) the spikes are sharp and I love 'em. I'm already throwing them into stuff lol.<br />4) I imagined the caltrops to be a little sharper than what they are, but I guess it doesn't matter cause I don't know what I'm going to be using them for.<br />5) Overall I say it is a good knife just with some minor mishaps. 3/5
