Raptor Junior Karambit a Good Show Knife

Purchased and received this knife on Jan 26, 2019, and here is my review of the Raptor Junior Karambit. First off, the karambit I received was not sharp at all. It wouldn't even cut through two pieces of notebook paper! Secondly, mine did not look like the one advertised. Mine didn't have the deep notched spine. Instead, the spine was very shallow and did not have that aggressive look. Lastly, my blade had a darker colored finish instead of the brighter one advertised. Some of the nice things about the knife is that it seems very solid and the "G10" handle is very attractive. The nylon sheath was cheap but it held the knife firmly in place. As far as the Raptor Junior being an efficient self defense knife, I would say that this karambit is a no-go. This karambit has a tiny handle! I prefer gripping the karambit blade side up. The problem with gripping it this way is that I could only get about two and a half inches of grip due to the bulkiness and the small design of the handle. I have small hands, roughly 4 inches across the palm and I could not find a comfortable and secure grip at least not without having some of my hand coming in contact with the blade. In conclusion, if you have hands bigger than mine, this knife could be too small to handle. The Junior Raptor Karambit is a nice little show knife, but that's about it.
