Shinwa Brown Wooden Samurai Set - 1045 Carbon Steel Blades, Hardwood Handles, Cord-Wrapped, Metal Alloy Tsubas

I got these in yesterday, The blades themselves are amazing, carbon steel with what seems to feel a full tang or atleast 3/4 tang through the handle. Here’s the tricky part When they came in, the guards were a tad warped. The scabbard looked like it’s been through some damage with cracks down the side. The tanto doesn’t hold in its sheathe either. (I know it says on the description that the sheathing would be loose for “oriental and traditional” reasons. But don’t you think a ninja would want his blades to hold??) This ninja sure thinks so!!!! I know I probably got a “unique” set and I’m still going push them to limit as a daily blades and as oriental peices. But just be aware of what your about to get into, they don’t come with a stand either :/ They are still beautiful and functional blades, The wakizashi is my new favorite for anything, plus I love the weight to it!! Overall, if I didn’t have a dedicated katana for chopping anything, I probably would’ve been truly disappointed. It has the potential to be a set that lasts you for life, it just has to be good quality first
