Cold War Era M-70 Hungarian Helmet

A great helmet for the price! I think it's surplus (possibly un-issued)! Like the design a lot! Mine was a very minimally beat up, but the suspension system is really good! Good shipping time too!

As others stated, this is NOT a World War 2 helmet, this is a soviet-style helmet from the 1970s-80s, but mine came and was in good condition. Very pleased with it.

It's not WWII, but for $13.99 I can't complain! It a Hungarian M-65/80 model. It was introduced in 1971 while Hungary was under Soviet Occupation. MY helmet was in excellent condition aside from a few scratches and an insignificant dent on the rim, but some wear from storage is understandable. I doubt this thing was even issued. This helmet makes an awesome edition to my helmet collection. If you want this as a collector I would pick a few up while the price is good.

You may not believe this; but I may be the only female WW11 helmet collector in the WORLD!! This is an authentic piece of war equipment issued to an AXIS ally in WW11. If this is not a piece of history, then what is?? The helmet is in perfect condition, the leather liner seems to be brand new and WOW!!! I bought it for less than 10 Dollars. THANKS BUDK.

The helmet arrived and it is close to pristine condition, steel is solid and not rusting, leather is movable and not cracking, and it just has an awesome feel. The one thing that I do not like about it, is that it does not fit on top of my huge noggin! I wanted to get one that would fit so it could be used and I tried this one because of the excellent price and zero negative reviews, but to no avail. So I will be giving it to one of my friends since he has a normal size head lol. So if anyone was thinking of buying this for use, but wonder if it will fit you or not, then you should not buy it if you have a 24.5 inch skull =)
