It may serve well as an ornament, but not so as a weapon; the blade can't support its own length, and a considerable measure of metal would be lost trying to give this piece an edge. If you're looking for a sword to put on display, just watch out for the flaking paint (it will start coming off the first time you hold it), but practitioners looking for a real weapon: best look elsewhere."
