Reviews

The umbrella is of good

"The umbrella is of good quality. The tip is plastic as are most. Note that the handle must be unscrewed several turns to pull out the blade. It's not something could be done with one hand. Of all the sword umbrellas I reviewed on various web sites, this looks and feels best."

Not functional

"When it says functional I'm assuming the umbrella is what they're discribing? Because the sword part is just a little flimsy rod on the inside. They shouldn't advertise this as a sword at all!"

Sean C. (1/5)

Novelty

"In fairness, I purchased this product for the novelty of it. It is neither a competent defensive weapon, nor an especially great umbrella. Instead, it is a cool conversation piece. It could perhaps skewer a yapping chihuahua on the commuter train, but it is not going to stop a 200 lb. thug. It is what it is... and it is exactly what I expected. No regrets."

Randal E. (3/5)

Missing Strap in Picture

"Happy with the Sword and Umbrella but it didn't come with the sling on the cover to put on your shoulder like in the picture. I wish it had come with the sling. I'm waiting to hear back from customer service if they will ship me the umbrella cover with the sling/strap. It's not noted in the description that it doesn't come with it. I like the sword and had it engraved. I hope I can get a cover with the strap."
