Beautiful blade. Tip was bent upon receipt.
"Beautiful blade. the pattern I"VE ALWAYS WANTED> But when it arrived, the tip was bent at a right angle, destroying it's collectability. It had obviously been dropped on a hard surface, slightly bending the first inch, and turning the very tip. Perhaps someome took it out of the box and threw it. I wanted this knife. I have some very good Hibben knives, the Alaskan Survival Knife, and the Sidewinder are functional and beautifully made. This 65th anniversary blade may have a tip that is too thin for hard use. It may be the manufacturer ground this one a little too closely, and I got unlucky to have it sent to me, I hope it does not represent a lowering of the high standards of Mr. Hibben's original designs by the manufacturer. I'm not going to return it. . . I hate the hassle. But when I buy another Hibben knife, I hope the quality will be back up the original high standards."
