Serious Blade
"This is one Serious Blade! Right out of the box it would totally shave a swath of hair right off the top of my forearm to test the razor sharpness. Handle is very heavy duty and grip "wise" if not a bit tight quartered. This is not the blade to flip to a reverse grip mid stream but handles well if reverse grip is used from the start. The thickness and overall size of this blade belies the fact that the point is also very very sharp which is often not seen with a lot of large thick and wide blades. So this one is good for either thrusting to the hilt (shudder to think) or to lop off an incoming threat, and I mean take it off in one motion. As an overall camp and survival knife I would definitely feel comfortable with it even without a sawback. As a fighter, whew! Sure wouldn't want to face this one. A total winner for the price as well. Well done by Master Bladesmith Gil Hibben and one of the better offerings here at Kennesaw. I have my eyes on that new Bowie he has out now, the Legionaire Bowie!"
