"Very nice Hibben design. Bought a couple of years ago and have had zero issues. POB is right at the back edge of the guard. Fit and finish are excellent. The pictures must be of an older design. The 6-1/2" blade, 10-5/8" overall in the description is correct for what I bought. Don't know what you'll get today. The "double-edge" referred to in the caption on the older picture with the smaller dimensions is not right. The blade is designed with a "false edge" on the spine side. Very common design, but not sharpened and not meant to be."

Awesome knife but not a boot knife

"This knife (along with the GH sidewinder) are my first ever Gil Hibben knives I have ever had and I have to say, wow! Great presentation from box, to sheath to knife. Excellent build, finish and weight let’s you know this isn’t a junk knife. Polished blade that comes with a sharp edge, nice guard and nickel plated pommel and a handsome wooden handle. Overall, this is one heck of a knife to add to a collection and even carry along however this knife is much to large to consider as a boot knife. The sidewinder is better suited as such and I will drop a review on that one as well because it is such an awesome little knife."

Very nice

"It is advertised as a boot knife but would also make a good belt knife for its size. The clip for the boot is sufficient to attach to a belt. It came sharp. Nice balance. It does complement the Hibben version of the Arkansas toothpick. I prefer this version over the other because it fits my hand, must lighter, and is much more useful."
