Strong

"I've had several pocket knives over the years, this is my favorite. It's very well built and strong. The 1/8' thick D2 blade has no wobble at all when open, sharp enough to shave with right out of the box. It's has a somewhat stiff action, but opens easly with the assist and a slight flick of the wrist. This is a great no nonsense knife."

A Special Relationship

"This is a great knife. It is very classy and sleek in appearance, and mine was shaving sharp on arrival. About a month ago I was in a car accident, with my vehicle rolling several times, and stopping upside down. My left collarbone was broken in several places, making that arm useless temporarily. Because my weight was on the seatbelt, and I only had one good arm, I was trapped. Then I remembered that this knife was in my right pocket. I quickly fished it out, and cut the seatbelt (and immediately fell directly on my head, lol). Needless to say, that experience gave this knife a special place in my heart. I would definitely buy it again, and it is on par with a Benchmade that I just paid nearly $300 for. I recommend all of the Honshu products. I have quite a few of their fixed blades as well, and they are all great. They manage to blend beauty with functionality, and keep things at a price point that normal people can actually afford."

Super sharp, great grip, stiff opening

"If the kick out tab was higher up and longer, or it had spring assist, it would be more easy to open than it is. I like serrated sections on blade for cutting plastic and cardboard which this doesn't have. Otherwise it's a beautiful blade, super sharp, great grip ridges and color."

Slight Change needed

"When opening this knife those grooves on the top front really tear your finger up. That portion needs to be smooth. The grooves in back are great they help to keep a good grip. That little change would make that knife much better."
