"just received my sword today this is the fourth sword in this line. Mine. weights 2.5oz,the blade lendgth is 29.5",guarl length is 4&1/4",,the grip length is 4",the promel is 1&1/16" the width is 2&3/8",pob is 6&3/8" from guard, the distal taper is 4mm-3mm-2&1/2mmand the blade width at the guard is 2&1/4".this is a christmas present so I just cked it out and cut a cupple water bottles cut great,also cut various kinds of paper-no problem.this the lightest viking sword I owen,have a hanwei that is 2.7oz.the promel is small with copper pins on bottem on each side.the pob is out there due to the smaller promel.the grip is done well little room on one side between the cord wrap.the design on the guard and the promel is very attractive. the sword came very sharp out od the box which is nice.the scabbard is very nice,really like the rain guards at the top,the sword doesen't go all way into the scabbard ,the re is no retention due to the construction of the rain guards which I don't mind.over all this is my favorite viking sword.IF you are looking for a good viking sword that comes sharp this is the one.rember to only cut water bottles and bamboo.safe cutting Ray Blundell"
