The Ironsmith Co. Pioneer Dining Set recreates the style of early camp dining tools in a compact hand-forged set. Each utensil is crafted from high-carbon steel and heat-treated to produce a darkened finish that highlights the forged surface texture. Twisted handles and simple shapes give the set a distinctive look suited for reenactments, historical displays, or rustic dining settings.
This three-piece set includes a knife, fork, and spoon, each measuring approximately 8" overall. The knife features a 3 3/4" straight-edged blade and a curled twisted handle, while the fork has two 2 3/4" tines and the spoon includes a 2" x 2" bowl. Each handle ends in a curved tip with an eye-hole for hanging or drying. The utensils store neatly in the included folding leather pouch secured with a thong for convenient transport. Cleaning before use is recommended due to the heat-treating process, and applying beeswax can help reduce moisture exposure.
