"I don't have many knives but I know bad craftsmanship when I see it. I was sold on this by the reviews and I recommend it myself. I've stripped and chopped up small fallen trees faster than I could have with an axe. The balance is great, the blade stays sharp, the sheath is good. Overall weight is nice. "Wow. Just. Wow. As an avid knife collector for ALL of my adult life, I was blown away by the performance of this blade. First things first, this thing is thick and heavy. It is ALMOST 0.25" thick, which is great by itself. Plus, it's obviously got the Kukri design, which by itself is a superior cutting shape and implementation. Then, add on the fact that it is VERY well balanced, weight-forward, and WIDE just before the tip, and you've got yourself a superior weapon."
