The Kriegar Helden Rand Kat Knife is a faithful reimagining of the German military lock back folders once carried by soldiers in World War I and World War II. Its 3 1/2" drop point blade is forged from high-carbon steel for dependable edge retention, allowing it to handle repeated use without constant resharpening. A slim, lightweight steel handle keeps it easy to carry, and the integrated lanyard loop offers quick attachment options when needed. Built for both practicality and historical appreciation, this knife blends rugged materials with a time-tested lock back design for stability during use. Compact enough for daily carry yet distinctive enough for display, it appeals to collectors, history buffs, and anyone who values a durable and capable folding knife with military heritage.

Made In China

"Despite the origin of manufacture I have found this knife to be very useful. The knife is thin and easy to carry. Also, it stays sharp. I had assumed that the brand name Kriegar meant it was german made - - it wasn't. This knife is manufactured in China (stamped on the blade of the recent edition). Previous editions did not show the origin of manufacture (I own several of the old editions)."

Update

"This is the third order I have placed for this knife. I previously ordered 4 knives and gave them to friends and neighbors. Now I have ordered 4 more before they are no longer available at this price. Got to remember to keep one for myself. This is a super knife; and everyone is very happy to receive the gift."

super knife!

"I have been collecting knives for a long time--and this is the sharpest, one of the best made and easy carry knives I have come across. I have ordered another one."

Like the knife but..

"Really like the knife as it is almost exactly like one I bought in 1960 and carried for years. The only negative is that the pins are not nearly as smooth as they should be."
