M48 Liberator Sabotage II Combat Knife With Sheath - Cast Stainless Steel, Black Oxide Coating, Layered G10 Handle - Length 13 1/2”

I received my first Knife of the month & it was this beast! This knife is VERY heavy & extremely well built. I don't see a practical use for it yet, but it is beautifully designed and I will have it on display in my man cave.

This was my first knife from the knife of the month club and so far I am pleased. It isn’t too sharp, but is very heavy, so that kind of evens it out. Although It isn’t very practical it would make a great display piece. The only complaint I have is the sheath latch doesn’t secure the blade and the current price is cheeped than what is paid monthly for the club. With that said I look forward to my next kotmc blade!

The blade is 1cm thick at its thickest, and the knife weighs over a pound. It looks really neat, but if they had cut the blade thickness in half and maybe shortened it about an inch it could be a useful knife. As is, it pretty much matches the "mall ninja knife" definition. The plastic grips are so slick that a knife of this weight would slip if used for any kind of cutting motion. If I had handled one in person first, I wouldn't have bought it.
