"This is a Big Knife, Blade measures 11 3/4" not 12 1/4". Sharp, brushed polished, pommel not flush with Tang. Was a close Decision over Timber Rattler-Bowie Same $$, Went with the extra metal look. I have a X-large Glove hand, handle Fits Great and Good Balance. Used it like a machete in the backyard, can't wait to take this baby camping. Over all very Pleased."

"I recieved the knife last week and it's awesome!! One of the biggest f***ing bowie knives I've ever seen! You could easily use it for a machete if you needed to. If you like big bowie's, this is the one for you, and very reasonably priced."

worth the price asked

"I ordered this to use as a machete for clearing trails. Most machetes I see are too long to fit in my pack basket, but this one does and it comes with an acceptable (for the money) sheath. The sheath is good enough to protect the blade, although it doesn't look like it would last very long hanging from your belt. While this knife isn't the quality of the "outlaw bowie", it isn't bad for a work knife. blade appears to be 1/8". You will want to sharpen it, factory edge is rough at best. Fit and finish are not that great, but hey, its only 16 bucks! Overall good product for the price asked."

"Finally got around to adding this to my bowie collection and I'm glad I did. It certainly gets your attention! A lot of blade for the money. Like a previous reviewer said, it's not of the best quality, but overall it's solid and should stand up well. The only real negative is the sheath - very flimsy and certainly couldn't be used to wear this knife. I'll use it for storing the knife until I can find or make a heavy leather sheath for it."
