On top of the grinder head is an emery style strip for quick honing. Then, on each side, there are a set of two metal alloy blades and a set of two ceramic rods, each crossed at an ideal angle for maximum sharpening ability. The sharpener is made of ABS and a PVC suction cup gives the sharpener a non-slip base. The ergonomic grip is heavily textured for a secure grip when using.
