"I'm a knife collector and only recently moved up to collecting swords. My favorite color is purple so when I came across this katana I knew it was an absolute must have. The other reviews are correct. It looks great in the pictures but it's absolutely amazing and stunning in person. The blade changes from a lighter purple like in the pictures to a very nice deep purple depending on how the light hits it. The one that I received is very solid and well built and came extremely sharp right out of the box. You won't regret adding this one to your collection!"
