Exactly what I was looking for!

"I was looking for a light bearded axe with a flat poll that can be used to pound stakes or be batoned to split wood. You can grip the handle just behind the poll giving you control to carve or smooth wood (I did add some layers of g tape to make it more round and comfortable). The bit is about 7 3/8 inch long and can really mow through wood. The simple construction allows it to be inexpensive, but the solid materials it's made of should give me years of use. I did remove the hinky wrapping from the handle (squishy) and add a real paracord wrist strap."
