"Bought strictly as a display knife. Quite obviously NOT Damascus or even pattern welded steel. Not at this price point. Not complaining, just stating the obvious. It's a surface machine grind and chemically treated effect. Looks nice and after dressing the edge it makes a functional letter opener. The sheath has the usual problems. Finish is better than many, but the male part of the snap drags on the blade and it won't take long to damage the blade."
"Very nicely crafted knife. Handle fits well in my hand also the slight imperfections make the knife look genuinely unique . I only have two small complaints . One the knife should have come sharper out of the box. It's very hard to sharpen Damascus yourself without damaging the blade. Two the sheath is too big for the knife it should have been a little smaller. Not enough not to give this knife 5 stars . If you like Damascus blades I would definitely recommend getting this knife."
