This bowie knife comes in at 10” overall but, make no mistake, its 5 1/2”, stainless steel blade is keenly sharp. The smooth and silky genuine olive wood handle is complemented by a stainless steel pommel, spacers and a stainless steel guard, which keeps your hand from slipping to the blade, and bands of darker wood. "The knife seems to be solidly constructed and the finish on both blade and handle is very good. The handle is definitely meant for larger hands, which suits me just fine. The blade profile is good for a general hunter/skinner. The sheath construction is better than many at this price point, but there are a few issues. The primary issue is the snap for the strap. You can hear the back of the male portion on the sheath body scraping the blade on the way in and out. Very common for "economy" sheaths. I'll be making new sheaths for the three that I bought."
