"This is a very cool item. It looks great and the quality is excellent for the cost. You cannot expect to go out and chop down trees with this. It isn't a $300 dollar machete, it's a cool sword that would be completely functional as a self defense weapon or a collectable."
"I recently purchase the US1942 Sword with Sheath. I found it was similar the Marine Corp K-Bar in design and quality. This well balanced sword not only looks the part of WW2 military history its well balanced and of very nice quality for the price. Serving in Desert Storm I carried a Marine Corp K-Bar, this has the look and feel of such weapon only on a larger level. Well worth the price. Anyone that has a war room would find this a welcome addition."
"I liked the look and feel of it. So, I took it out and tryed it on some black berry brambles. On about the fifth swing it broke about two inches up into the handle in the tang section. The tang is a thin bar not likely to stand up to any actual use. It is to bad because the balence is very nice, the leather handle is great. It is like a K-bar gone sward. Except it is not made for actual use."
"This is a nice sword. It has a good balance, the blade is sharp, and I think it is well-designed except for one thing, it is about 18 inches too short. Overall, I like it."
"They are misrepresenting this sword. There was no such thing as this sword, it is something they made up to make money. This is a bad copy of the trusted K-Bar knife all of us Marines carried. The Marine NCO sword and the Marine officers swords, were the only two swords Marines carried, and they have been cerimonial for years."
"Do not buy this product. It is cheaply made and will fall apart as you pull it out of the sheath. There is a small weak weld about an inch or so into the handle from the blade and will crack as soon as you draw it for the first time or if you strike something. Also the edge on this blade is pretty garbage not sharp at all, not even remotely close to it. Does look good for a wall piece if it survives being opened. Other than that look somewhere else."
"Very low quality, even for the price. I got one and the hilt snapped clean in half in under a week. So if you're looking for anything with any utility look for another product."
"Excellent Short Sword for the Modern Day Swordsman not terrably sharp like a Katana but it can stand on its own in a fight, pretty soon I would like to buy matching pair for the two-sword style. I wish they made it without the serrations on the blade but, it isn't too bad."

"I liked this sword enough that I bought a second one. I then bought the USMC TANTO MACHETE to go with them. The sheaths were not anything to brag about, but what can you expect for the price? I am happy with my purchases."
