"I think the Bowie is A 5 Star after some Work. First the Blade has some sort of Coating on it, Sand that off so you can get to the Blade. With A Die Grinder Using 500 Grit Sandpaper it brings Back A Beautiful mirror Finish, not A Painted one. When you first get the Bowie look were it shows USMC You can see the Painted on Finish. After All that it is A Beautiful Bowie even though it is Made in China. Later"

"This knife is emaculate it is the best knife I have ever owned. I through my cutco buck knife in the tool box because this is the better knife by far this is the Cadillac of all knifes. I have recently gone to the amazon jungle for a 2 week survival trip and this was the only knife I brought and it never went dull. It's a machete and a Bowie it is the best knife ever it earns infinet stars."
