"I borrowed this machete from my neighbor to hack up a Christmas tree after Christmas, and I must say, it is a superb tool. The saw on the spine is fully capable and the hilt has a great grip to keep it steady in your hand while using it. Definitely a great knife for actual outdoor use. Planning on getting my own soon!"

"THIS IS A FINE MACHETE FOR CLEARING UP BUSHES AND SMALL LIMBS OF TREES. ITS A GOOD USE IF YOU'RE CLOSE TO SALTWATER. THE KIND OF BLADE IS VERY RESISTANT TO RUST. THE HANDLE IS RUBBER SOFT TO THE HAND AND CAN PREVENT FROM SLIPPING BUT THE HANDLE IS A DRAWBACK WHEN USING THE SAW BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT IN A GOOD POSITION ON THAT AWKWARD HANDLE. THE NYLON SHEATH IS GOOD BUT NOT GOOD ENOUGH UNLESS YOU PUT SOME LINER INSIDE TO PROTECT THE SHEATH FROM THE SHARP TEETH OF THE BLADE. MY MACHETE WAS RESHARPENED TO ITS PROPER BEVEL TO ACHIEVE A RAZOR SHARP BLADE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE. ITS A GOOD BUY FOR THE MONEY..."

"Don't let other reviews about the "best machete ever", or the "razor" sharpness of this product sway your decision. For 20 bucks it's a decent product. It came about as sharp as a bowling ball and took hours of stone work to put a decent edge on the blade. The saw works "ok", but the handle set-up for swinging, not sawing. If you have more than a couple of small limbs to saw off, your hand will be aching. The sheath has a cheap Velcro� hold down that is difficult to operate with one hand. I wish it had a snap instead."

"Just got this today. Almost cut myself getting it out of the sheath. Razor sharp all the way to the end. Good comfortable grip. The saw back looks like it's patterned after a regular tree trimming saw. Very nice. Can't wait to try both sides out on something. Or someone breaking in."
