"Great quality knife as always"

Very nice knife

"Another good looking knife from Gil Hibbens. The knife has a nice weight to it and the trigger-finger does give this knife excellent control. It is making a nice addition to my collection."

great knife bad sheath

"i love the knife itself. it is sharp and looks beautiful but the "custom sheath" doesnt even fit the knife inside of it. but i do love the look and feel of the knife itself so i give 4 stars. just dont say the sheath is custom made for the knife when the knife doesnt fit inside of it."

Sheath blows

"the knife is what i expected but the sheath blows horribly. I cant take it anywhere because of it but its maily a collection piece unless i need it."

COLLECTORS BEWARE!

"This knife is the 2012 Legacy Bowie...the first knife in the Legacy collection. Beautiful knife, still a Hibben...but NOT a "new" one in the series. I got fooled into ordering a knife I already had!"

Very good for the money

"First off a word to the wise. This isn't a true Hibben made knife (which are way more expensive). This is a design purchased and licensed from the Hibbens and manufactured by United Cutlery, Having said that, I purchased mine during a 20% off sale and for $40.00 I'm pretty happy with it. As others have said, the sheath leaves a bit to be desired, and is the only thing keeping me from giving this a 5 star review. The snap strap doesn't fit very well over the small thumb ramp/ finger guard and is very difficult to close. This is a common problem with many less expensive knives and with use and stretching I'm sure the strap will close easier over time. The only other minor issue was that the handle scales are very slightly dinged up at the top on the thumb ramp, but I only noticed after careful inspection, it's virtually unnoticeable otherwise. Otherwise this is a great deal on a bargain priced Hibben knife. The overall look and feel of the knife is excellent it, has different grip options and seems very sturdily made. The blade came pretty factory sharpened out of the box, and a few minutes honing it with ceramic made it razor sharp. Whether you're in the market for a decent EDC tactical knife, a nice looking work knife, or a collectible piece to add to your collection, you could do a lot worse for the price"

Pig Poker

"I have been impressed with this purchase. I have put this through its paces as I use the knives I buy. I placed a rather keen edge on this weapon and it maintained its sharpness well despite my chopping, sawing, poking ...the 7cr17MOV is decent enough for the hunting/camping use this blade will see. I am not a metal snob. It is beautifully finished and I like the sheath...I had to 'stretch' the strap on the first use...but leaving it on overnight corrected the problem for the future.....leather stretches! This will be a perfect 'pig poking' knife for my hunts. My only problem will be balancing my enthusiasm for this knife against my other Hibbens 5025 assault tactical which is my other winner......sigh...such problems."
